Russell James is a writer and angler from Corvallis, Oregon.
They graduated with their MFA from Eastern Oregon University and focus their work in both fiction and nonfiction alike.
They currently freelance, writing about fly fishing and related subjects. They are also finishing a novel, and they always seem to be working on a zine.
Russell is an avid fly fisher with 15 years of experience. They are well-versed in the rivers of Oregon and spend most of their time exploring these wild places.
Russell is proud citizen of the Pamunkey Indian Tribe (Virginia).
They currently lives in Oregon with their spouse and dog, Mr. Paws.
